Check out these beauties!

Gotta be brief today, am in a bit of a rush. Will counter this by showing you these phenomenal palazzo pants - oh I do love  a bit of alliteration! These beauties were a bargain find in the New Look sale a few years ago for a snip at £5. I had to reline them as the lining was a bit clingy and now are so very flowy and whooshy, that they make a lovely swishing sound as I waltz about in them. I feel like a schooner in sail (is that what I mean?) as they flow about beautifully. Enough chat, now some snaps.

Must dash as I've got lots to do and so very little time to do it in! The top was a gift, trousers from New Look, but nothing similar currently, shoes were from New Look (similar). Rings are charity shopped, green pearls are from Almost Perfect, my perfect rose gold watch is by Michael Kors and rose gold bangle is from Kate Spade New York.

This week I'll be linking with these lovely style icons

    1. Glad you like them Samantha. I seem to recall you have some elegant black evening Palazzo pants... The sewing thing is very amateur but I took a course and can replace a zip now which even impressed me! Have a vintage dress waiting in the wings to be lined so that I can wear it to an exhibition. Watch this space!

    1. Aren't these wild indeed! I love 'em. Re the sewing, I found it was a natural extension of customising clothes, and only about 18 months ago bought a decent sewing machine to help me along. I love the thrill of a successful project no matter how small.

  3. They look so nice! What a great idea about relining. I often don't buy things because I dislike the shiny lining!

  4. I've never seen such a lovely sleek schooner! Hahaha. Yar!
These pants, gosh, I just love palazzos. I know exactly what you mean by the swish factor. Too bad you had to replace the lining, but well worth it. Just watch out for big breezes - the sails tend to tangle. Love it all.

    1. I did have a compliment from a customer about the swish factor of these pants! I think they sound expensive now which surely is no bad thing. £5 very well spent to my mind.

    1. Thanks Anna. Palazzo's are in a league of their own in my book, and like you I have few pairs, but none are quite as billowing as these! Thanks for dropping by x

  10. I am a great fan of palazzo pants and these are wonderful. Clothing with a high "Swish" factor is the best. I'm impressed you replaced the lining.

    1. Thanks for the compliments. Am delighted to hear that you too like a bit of a swish. Sewing is one of my new hobbies and I do love the challenge, provided I get a bit of success along the way. Have a lovely week x

  11. The pants look fun but your top is so very pretty! I love how the collar goes up around your neck and the fabric ruffles look so nice. Good luck on your busy weeks of visitors to your island!

    1. Hi Julia. Hope you're having a great holiday. The top is very feminine with the collar and ruffles and being so slim fitting too. In addition it's so very useful being black. We're slap, bang in the middle of the high season now, so it's very busy on the island, but it's what we've all been working towards for the past 12 months. Hurrah!
